| The gulets and ketches, elegant
traditional sailing vessels accommodate guests in compact, comfortable cabins,
most with en suite shower room and wc. Your gulet comes complete with a
Captain, cook and crew. The Turkish Kaptan knows the coastline intimately
and your voyage of discovery will be determined by the interests of the
guests, but ultimately by the Captains judgement of prevailing weather conditions
and local knowledge. |
| You will have a variety of moorings at night, anchored
in beautiful remote and secluded bays, or in sight of lively lokantas in
small harbours where you can investigate the carpet shops, the gold, silver
and leather shops and explore the surrounding area. The Turkish coast has
many historical sites. Meals are taken on deck at a comfortable full size
table. Menus are varied and will comprise excellent fresh ingredients purchased
along the way. There is a bar on board, stocked by the crew offering a good
choice of soft drinks, wine and beer, sold at reasonable prices.
